Default Oil Cooler kit

I am looking into purchasing an Oil Cooler Kit pretty soon, and it seems like nobody has a new one for less than Ducati Performance. Approx. $573.00 I don't really want to purchase used. Any places I missed that anyone can suggested would be great. This would be for a 2007 695.
Thanks,
Wasabi

don't think there are any active manufacturers making the oil cooler kits anymore besides DP.

if you don't *absolutely need* a brand-new part, and can do the work yourself, it's not that hard to find a nice used one from ebay (most of the time with the lines included), the case-hose fittings, the valve cover it mounts to, and the bypass valve.

haha, if you're really good, all you need is the bypass valve. a mounting bracket can be made, and most any basic race car app. trans oil cooler in suitable dimensions, and lines/fittings from any decent auto-store will work and do the same thing. alot of people who do dual oil coolers do it this way.

*late edit*, i should have re-read and seen that you really didn't want used...anyways, what makes you think you need one? just like the looks?...many many monsters get by just fine commuting on even the hottest days with no oil cooler and no adverse effects....

the only other place I know you can get one is at desmoworld, but with the dollar so weak, you're better off buying from DP....

it's been harder and harder to get the kits as time goes on, so it's basically left to chance if you're trying to find a different place to buy from...

Thanks guys...The only reason I wanted a new one is that I would be sure that it had all the parts. I am pretty much a rookie when working on a motorcycle and making sure I had good directions and all the parts are a great help for a rookie ;D Maybe if I do buy used I could attend one the sessions I have seen posted and I could get some help
Thanks again,
Wasabi
