You can buy Yamabond 4 for less money. I use Yamabond all the time to seal dirtbike engine cases, bare metal to bare metal. I'm not a fan of the Permatex "grey, blue, or black" RTV sealants. They seem to be more of a silicone that is good for valve covers on cars. If you decide to use Permatex (because it's about $5 a huge tube and available at every auto parts store, home depot, and walmart) buy the grey as it seems to be more like Yamabond than the blue or black.
