I have been using that brand tender (although the larger one) for many years without problem. Yes, you have a 12v battery.
How old is your battery? If over 3 years, you are on borrowed time, and should probably replace it anyhow,

alright cool. And I've only had the bike for a little over 2 months now and the previous owner said the battery was pretty much brand new. (About a couple months)
*btw I was only gone for a day and I ride the bike everyday.

This happned to my bike several times and it was all caused from the kickstand safety switch. On my bike there is a small pin that eventually shears off and prevents the kickstand safety switch from disengaging. I have an 05 Monster, hopefully Ducati has fixed this issue by now.

Could I possibly bump/push start the bike? Or is that not advised for a Monster? I've seen videos of people doing it and wondered if there were any side effects to it.

So I think I should update everyone that I fixed my bike. I had checked and even switched out the ignition fuse with a spare as the first reaction to when it wouldn't start. But I decided to switch the ignition fuse with the fuse from the flasher relays and it fired right up today.

Testing the battery is free.
Did you check to see if you have spark?
