Default Speedometer replacement?

Hey,

So after having my 620 rained on, both the speedometer and tachometer aren't working. The display light on the right side (tachometer) still works but not on the speedometer side. I was wondering if anyone has done a replacement for this, and where I can find the replacement parts and also a how-to or write up to replace it. I'd rather not take it into the shop...cause they charge so much lol

I had to replace my entire instrument cluster because my indicators flashed every twenty seconds when used (required for an annual certificate of fitness) I could have gone down the old fashioned route I guess with relay etc but stayed std (NZ$1200), my suggestion for what its worth would be to remove the offending item and take it to an electronics repair expert and have him repair it (at the time mine was unrepairable now it is repairable, <according to the local Ducati dealer> shame I sold it eh?)

FYI - the speedo cluster is mated to the key and ECU, so you cant replace just one piece without re-flashing the ecu to remove the immobilizer function

I think they will repair yours for you. My speedo and tach are dead on my 2002 Monster 750, still looking for someone who can fix mine. They say they have fixed other Ducati models, but could not work on mine for whatever reason.
