Default HELP!!!!M1100: softer clutch springs!!!!!!

I just got my m1100 and i love everything about it but the hard clutch pull. Currently on the bike is an oberon clutch slave but the pull is still mega. Is there any solution to this and are there softer springs i can get ? Thanks

Dry clutch? If so, corse dynamics makes stainless that are supposedly easier to compress. Motowheels sells them.

quote, "Corse Dynamics has manufactured clutch springs specificly for the Ducati clutch to perform exactly like their stock equivalent. "

Safe assumption to say it wont make much of a difference. Perhaps i will just have to remove 2 springs.

I'm using speedymoto springs right now. More tension than the stockers in my setup, others have said this too. But remember If the spring tension is too little, your clutch runs the risk of slipping under heavy throttle. Just a heads up.

I actually like a heavy pulling clutch.
It helps me release the lever quicker aiding a quick shift. Now sitting in traffic......not so fun. Guess you tailor
your setup to where you ride, makes sense.

Well put! I ride in traffic and its a killer. I thought the superduke was bad until this arrived a few weeks ago. I'll replace the springs and if that does not work i'll removed 2 springs. I will be placing an order for the 2012 SF and i am so glad the 848 comes with a wet system although the local dealer did say ducati has waved a final good buy to all dry systems.

I would never remove 2 springs. You can slip the clutch with all 6 why remove 2?

My bike had an ultra hard clutch pull when I got it. When I was removing the clutch cover to run an open clutch I bought the EVR 30% larger slave and stainless steel springs and that changed the pull to feel like most any other bike I've ridden.
