Default Belt change--don't have rear stand--how to line up ticking marks

Well, I'm new at this and giving it my best try. I've read the belt change tutorials and bought new belts. So now I'm ready to install. Problem is, I don't have a rear stand yet. So I can't rotate the rear tire to get the ticking mark in the timing window lined up with all the rest of the cam gear ticking marks.

Any other way to get the marks lined up so I can remove and install new belts?

Sorry for being a newbie.

Put the bike in neutral, take off the crank end cover (left side), use the end of the crank to rotate engine. You may be able to inprovise a tool or they sell them cheap (see Chris K). If you take out the spark plugs, it will rotate easier.

slam a piece of re-bar through your axle if its hollow then w/ a help from a friend, use two jack stands...volia..instant stand.

Service stands are the best...and they're not too expensive.

Default Still confused on timing marks

So which timing marks have to line up before removing the belts and putting them on? And what does the site glass on the left side of the bike have to do with it?

put down kick stand, get a jack under the oil pan and rais it enough to spin the tire easy and it wont fall over. i do it all the time. no damage to the pan.

There are 3 marks - all three are notches on the cases or belt cover around each pulley. They are easy to find. Line up before you take off the old belts & realign when you put the new ones on.

Angry I still need help with a couple of things

Again, which timing marks need to be lined up before belt removal and installation, and what does the timing window on the left side of the bike have to do with this.
Last, can someone describe to me which bolts are the tensioner bolts? The video and tutorial doesn't really describe them and this is the first time I've done this on any bike.

Please and thank you.

You need to align all three marks. The marks you see thru the left side window are for TDC and advance, ignore them.

Just put in the the top gear and roll the bike forward or back while sitting on it and looking over the side at the marks. Worked for me.
