I have this tank

and am replacing it with this tank.

Which line do i plug? I think it's the one thats pointing toward the bottom in this picture.

Also I need to purchase a gas cap. Is there a part number? the older part catalogs don't show up on Ducati's site.

So...for the slightly slow, or speed reading and might have missed it....looking to trade 2006 S4R Metal tank for 2007 S4RS plastic tank...can this be done?? If so what other parts do we need to swap or buy..or should this just not be done.

Thank you [thumbsup]

It can.

You need the frame mounted hinge.

And a complete pump and flange assy.

It will be very expensive.

what about fuel caps?

i'm trying to replace my '00 750 carb tank with a tank from a 620 efi. the hole in the top for the fuel cap is much wider. but when i looked for caps on ebay, they all were listed to fit all year monsters... this cant be true.

what size cap do i need and where do i get one?

So a would a carbed 1999 M750 fit on a carbed 2000 M750 easily or would I have to get a new seat? The third and forth posts are opposite in what they say so I'm a little confused.
