Hi was looking through some old posts of other Ducati owners in the Lake Worth, WPB, Jupiter, Stuart area. Seem like there are 5-6 right now. I would like to make it 7 as I am the proud new owner of an 07 S4RS. Bought the bike off a board member who was kind enough to do all the modifications I would have done myself!!! I am looking for other riders & events. I am coming off an RC51 (sorry) I sold two years ago. Man do I love this bike...full termi kit the bike is a torque monster. Anyway would like to hook up with the other local Duc riders for some rides. Thanks
Sounds good.... Hey board messages sometimes not timely so I propose that we post contact info so we can arrange rides in real time?? Sound Good?
Mine:
hahahahaha actually as you have mentioned in some of your posts the riding in S. Fla ain't the greatest. Wasn't riding the RC 51 much, was hot as hell so sold it and riding was out of my mind. Well a friend of mine over several cocktails say's Dude you should get another bike...I'm like fuck that don't want a Harley (he has one..very nice springer real retro) and am getting too old for the crotch rockets...hands, back wrists all hurt after just 45min ride. He say's check out the ducati monsters...well one look on-line and I was hooked. Spent a few weeks looking for the right one and voila one shows up in my garage from the middle of kansas (literally)..... You are going to be missing this area especially come Dec-March when it is actually very nice weather as you know. You will be back...I have 4 sets of friends/couples that moved away and guess what???they are all back.
I thought I hated SoFL before I had to move to Georgia. Except for the fact that I'm close to mountains/twisties, I hate this place. I love FL.
I'm actually agreeing with that! Lots of twisties here. It's INCREDIBLE for mtns and the riding!! The riders are INSANE and a lot of fun here. BUT..the beach and sun is where it's at! I don't know if I'll ever be back there. I was only there for 8 months. I like the sun/heat of AZ but that was getting TOO hot! Europe might be the next stop..hopefully Italy, Spain or France!! ;D
If you guys don't mind riding with a Speed Triple, I'm up for something most Saturdays. I've been around the lake several times, and am always open to new roads. I know a couple of Duc riders in Ft. Lauderdale who may be up for a ride, too.
