Default Pure Triumph / Ducati

I went to the new Ducati dealership today in downtown FT. Lauderdale and was impressed with the place. The main showroom is still all Triumphs but they have a room that is off to the side that they are setting up for the Ducatis. They had about a dozen bikes in stock mostly Monsters and a few sportclassics. There was also a new 1098 Tricolor but it was sold.

I met two guys that worked there, I believe they were the owners. I didn't catch the first guy's name but the second guy name is Martyn Graham, his business card says he is the "Dealer Principal". Both of them were very excited to by selling Ducati and they said it has taken longer than expected.
I asked about the service dept. and they said their chief mechanic had been riding Ducatis for a long time and had gone through Ducati's training program about a year ago. I didn't ask about their hourly rate.

They didn't have any Ducati merchandise out yet but they said they had ordered a bunch of items and just started receiving boxes. They also said they expected a new Hypermotard in next week and I think he said it was going to be a demo bike, but don't quote me on that.

I told them about the DML and I think they will be checking it out. I also talked briefly with them about maybe having a bike night or putting together a ride.

HI, i just stumbled on this board ironically after visiting the Pure Triumph/Pure Ducati in Ft. Lauderdale.

I own a Triumph Bonneville America and was there buying a part for it. I checked out the ducatis and really am considering a test drive of the 695 Monster! I sat on it and loved it.

Anyway, the people at Pure Triumph are super nice; great to deal with, no games, no high pressure. very reasonable. Bought my Triumph there (Andrea Fuentes is my name). I live in Miami so it's a hike.

That's my .02. I am going to post somewhere separately for input on the 695 Monster!!

Hi folks and thanks for the kind words. We are trying to get ourselves sorted out and the Ducati showroom is coming together.

For clarification - our senior tech has been involved with racing Ducati's for many years and went to Dyotech at Daytona two weeks ago to do the full official training course.

I'm not sure what the forum rules are about dealers joining forum topics but if I am am breaking any rules let me know and I will keep quiet. Otherwise if you are looking for a perspective from the other side of the fence (or service counter) I'm happy to provide a view - just don't expect anything too earth shattering.

If ever you are in Fort Lauderdale, swing by. If nothing else, the coffee is not bad.

You're fine!

There are a bunch of dealers & reps on here from all over, including Scottsdale, Ducati Seattle, etc.

I'll have to get down that way and check the store out!

More Ferraris are sold in Ft. L than any other place in the country. It's only logical there should be a Duc dealership there too! I would have had a shop there a long time ago!!

I have used Pure Trimuph for ducati servic and they do very well. Lucho is a very nice guy, and is well respected in the state for working on Ducs

I was in there a couple of days ago, had to stop when I saw they had a Hypermotard out front. They are getting more and more stuff daily and they just hired a woman specifically to handle parts for Ducati's, I think her name was Hannah. They seem committed to providing a quality product plus I noticed that the shop rate is $85/hr, if I remember correctly Miami is $115, thats like a $100 difference in a service call, plus for me being only like 2 miles away really helps too.
