Hi Everyone....

You might have guessed it but after years on the hunt I have finally bought my Monster...

I just picked it up today, a beautiful almost new red '07 S2R 800. I pretty much spent most of the day staring at it from my rear view mirror but got a chance to ride it in the beautiful cooling weather of the evening. I love it, love it, love it.

Would love to meet up with more Duc owners and ride if possible. I am in the Fort Lauderdale area so both Miami and Boca are an easy stretch.

Already thinking of changing the sprocket on it, any suggestions?

Hey Carlos,

Thanks for the heads up and definitely let me know when you are down this way again. WPB is not too bad of a ride if I take the turnpike. Even the 27 run to Lake Okeechobee is supposedly a fun run, except when the love bugs are out! I will have to look up Thumper.

Duc It... let me know when your up for a ride... I know it seems like its supposed to rain all week but if the weekend is nice lets flex some Italian power. I live in Plantation.

I get out of work early and the s/o will be gone the whole time so I will be doing a lot of riding this summer!

I def. want to get down that way and head to South Beach in a couple weeks!!

I talked to Chris at Moto Corse in Ft. Laudi and I think he would be down to host a little Monster/Duc gathering at his shop. If nothing esle, we could meet there and ride out.

This week will be hard for me to do any riding, my wife goes in for surgery tomm. So maybe by the weekend I might be able to get out for awhile. But I'm picking up my new Jeep Wrangler this afternoon so I might be spending most of my time and mod money on that for awhile. [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

She's getting surgery tomorrow and you're getting a Jeep Wrangler today??

Hmmm..let me guess what surgery she's getting?? A possible "enhancement"?

Is is a 4-door??

No, she came well equipped from the factory in that dept.. She found a lump in her neck and they are taking out at least part of her thyroid.

The jeep is a 2 door, I love the 4 door but don't really need all that space, I just bought the wife a new Pathfinder and that is the family car.

Sorry to hear your about your wife going in Duc It, wish her the best from the Monster List. Hope you wont be paying all your attention on the jeep now, I am really looking foward to getting together with everyone for a ride. But I can completely understand, I had a cool ass CJ a while back that was the most fun I have had on four wheels. Maybe I need to go find another one...

TCMostro, not sure who Chris is but if he runs a bike shop he must be a great guy, is it a custom shop or accessories? Let me know what pans out about that gathering.

IZ where do you live now? Sobe is a quick 20 min ride from where I am. Even closer from Cletus's area.

Already wondering what mods to do it mine and I havent even rode it a full hour yet!
