I moved to OC from LA. Any regular weekend riders down here? Weather is getting nice....

Yes, I'm a pretty regular weekend rider (usually can't do anything on a weeknight). There's a group of friendly folks at ocmoto.com that do regular rides, all makes and models. They're doing a "noobie ride" on 2/20 if you want to come out and meet folks. I use the same handle on that board.

I typically ride Santiago Canyon/Live Oak, or Carbon Canyon Road since both are easily accessible from Orange.

Where are you in OC? It's a pretty big place.

i get out when i can but most of my friends who ride will leave before i can get off work. I would love to ride more weekends.

If you guys want to come, the forum ocmoto is holding their "noobie ride" this Sunday, there will probably be about 100 bikes, lots of friendly people. I'll be there on the black Monster S2R. They ride from Tustin Market Place, up Santiago Canyon, up Live Oak, down to PCH in Laguna Beach, and end at the Ruby's for lunch.

WHERE: Tustin Market Place (in front of Sports Authority)
DATE: Sunday 2/20
WHEN: 10:00am (kick stands up 10:30 sharp)
RIDE PACE: Easy
CHATTERBOX: Ch 12 group 00

Hey, sorry I never followed through. I should stop posting on the Friday right before planning to ride on Saturday.

I obviously missed the 2/20 ride. Anyone up for a 4/16 or 4/17 ride?

I get off work at 1:30 on sunday. I work in tustin so we could do the canyons and cooks if you're up to ho that late. Let me know.

@azn: Oh, interesting. I've never done one of those. Too late for it now though.

@okpanic: Honestly, I'd rather do my ride early in the morning. I really appreciate the offer, but I think I'm going to pass on an afternoon ride tomorrow. Thanks for offering!

Looks like I need to start tracking ocmoto.

Perhaps early one day next weekend?
