Yes there is, there was talk on another board about how a helmet theft may be preparation for a bike theft (you have to leave your bike alone while you go get a new helmet).

i had a helmet stolen at Glendale Harley in a parking lot behind the shop

Stopped going to the Rock Store a couple years ago. Friend of mine had his jacket and helmet stolen at the same time on Sunday. Thinking back it was probably pretty easy with so many riders there and everybody trusting one another. Wished these types of thefts get more publicity.

Hey, my wife had her helmet stolen off her bike at the Rock Store in Sept 2010. I have the video surveillance of the thief and his buddies. Good pictures of his face and bike. But without a name or license # , we're out of luck.
