Default MOBster needs hotel advice for Fontana AMA race! DAH!

Bretheren,

A clutch of MOBsters from the sacred norcal are head'n south for the AMA races at California M.S.
http://www.ducatimonster.org/smf/ind...topic=103923.0
Where in thee hell shoud we stay?
I'd like to stay at a casino (san manuel, etc.) so we can stimulate the economy, but at the same time don't want to be too far from the track.
And yet, we wish to have fun- goodluck in Fontana, I know.
That's why I need you guys to help.

I'm thinking Pasadena, etc. might be our only hope but you tell me.

Lots of love,
Jimbo, ecv.

There's a hotel in Ontario Mills shopping center (I think it's a Hilton but not sure) you got the mall, there's Dave & Busters for drinks and entertainment, a Hooters across the street and The Speedway is skip away.

There's also a ton of hotels by the Ontario airport.
A bit further away than Ontario Mills, but not much.

Jim, I grew up in Claremont. It's 20m from Fontucky, has hotels and cute 'lil downtown with restaurants, coupla bars, etc. If you're just lookin' for a hotel to crash and strip malls, Ontario is a good spot.

Ontario sucks. Strip malls suck. Put the two together and it's Ontario-fuc'nstein.
I was hoping for a indian casino or something where chaos is the norm. A local bar with a band works. I don't care for hotels near airports much (god i'm a bitch) because I've spent so much time in those types I fell like I'm working.

Is Claremont like (Claremont Mens College?) Palo Alto or more like the mission, I have no idea.

I didn't know you were such a picky little schoolgirl, I thought you were a ruff'n'tuff motorcyclist. : [laugh]

Pasadena is 45 minutes away, with *no* traffic.
Count on at least 1 1/4 hours with race traffic.
Nice downtown, but the distance isn't worth it IMO.

Claremont is a decent choice, some hotels and nice downtown as Spidey says.

I'm not familiar with local casinos, but AFAIK, they're not real close to the track.

Not sure if I'll make the race, but I'll do my best to swill down some drinks with ya Friday nite. [thumbsup]

You could do the Casino Morongo east on the 10.... it's about an hour but traffic isn't an issue going that direction usually & the have loose slots & slot machines >

Yeah, that's the closest casino.

IIRC, there's not much at all *besides* the casino there...well, there's Outlet Stores, so it's strip mall again ;D
