re: any local law enforcement agents?
while a man or woman in uniform show up would have a lot of visual impact, i think you'd be better served by an attorney.
edit: let me clarify... it's an officers job to write a citation or effect an arrest based on their (or their department's) interpretation of the law.
those citations and arrests are then processed through the court system where charges can be changed or amended.
what you and the other party need to know are what the consequences for specific actions and behaviors are (plus the costs of fighting it out in court... attorney fees and court costs).
