Default Getting new tires?!

Hi guys,

I took a week off and planned a 5 day 1400mile trip up to SF / Ave of Giants and back towards LA again. I think I might want to replace my tire just to be safe. I'm currently in Atacasdero / Paso Robles or however you spell that town's name. Is there any where close that any of you know? I posted in Central Cal forum already, but since there's more members at our SoCal forum, I thought maybe few of you might know.

I think there's a Harley shop in Atacasdero. Can they change my tires or does it require some special ducati bolt? I don't think there is, but just wanted to make sure. I'll be riding up to and resting around Monterey Bay / Bay Area tomorrow. Hopefully, I can get it replaced before I ride up just for peace of mind!

Thanks alot.

Is your tire down to the wear bars?

What kind of Monster do you have?

It's not down to the wear yet, but I think 300+ more miles and it will. I've another 1000 miles or so to ride before I get home so wanted to be safe. It's a 05 620.

no special tools needed.

if you're currently heading north, your tire/shop choices get better in monterey.

Try San Luis Motorsports if you're headed south or Cycle Gear San Luis on Madonna Rd. right off the 101.

Hit me up with a PM if you need more info [thumbsup]

Thanks guys! I got my rear tired changed first thing in the morning when they opened at 9am at PowerHouse!

http://www.powerhouseonline.com/

I emailed them around midnight stating my situation and they called me before store opened and I went there and they had it done in 45mins! Have to say, the service was awesome, people friend both sales and service. I got lost on the way there and 2 gentlemen pulled up in their pickup truck thinking I was stranded by side of road and asked me to follow them to Powerhouse!

This 1500 mile trip has been superb so far! I'll post some pics once I arrive back home!

Cheers guys and ride safe.
