Darn. I work until 1:00 on Saturdays, and then I have heavy duty family obligations. The kind that if you don't show up, you will not have knees. (Wife is Italian) ;D

Taking tomorrow off of work and dropping the bike off for the 6K as soon as the doors open. Hopefully have is back in the late afternoon before they close. Original plan was to go sunday to ensure I'd have the bike back. Now it looks like maybe Sat. and Sun. but definatley one of the two. Also weather dependent
Derby give me a call Saturday.

4pm on friday? boooooo. i will still probably go on friday though if not saturday then. i dunno if i want to ride there and then be wearing my leather jacket around the whole time. good idea to lock the helmets to your bike there?

No worries. Every year, they have a free gear check inside operated by The Christian Motorcyclists Association.

Last time I went, the gear check was operated by the BMW Owners Club, and they actually gave everyone who checked their gear a free T-shirt, which had the BMW logo and said "Unlike the bikes in the show, mine wasn't trailered here". I still have it; I may have to wear it on Sunday.
