I'm a heavier guy and I have never bottomed out the front forks. I suspect that something is wrong.
Put a zip tie on the slider to act as a gauge, and then you can monitor the actual fork travel.

Something to remember is that the aftermarket BT-023 is a dual compound tire, where the BT-023 that Ducati used as 'stock' rubber is only a single compound. Definitely not the same tire.
