The Suzuki GS 500(F) is the only one that I would actually recommend to a friend or family member. I doubt that the author would buy his 16 year old son an R6 for his first bike.

Unfortunately the nut for that bolt (like many of them on this bike) is just an insert molded in to the plastic.

If you pop the seat off, you should be able to drill a hole in the back side of...

Since the new monsters are essentially 'modular', you should be able to do it very easily. The big pieces that you will need are the motor and ecu. There will undoubtedly be some smaller pieces...

The other thing to consider is the clutch.
The 1100S has the dry clutch that the purists like, and the evo has the wet clutch, like the 696, 796. They do feel different, so you might want to see...

There is a company that makes a 'bike sized' tent that acts like a mini garage. If you think it would be a possibility, I'm sure I could find the link to it.

This isn't the one that I saw before,...

There is no doubt that the stock 696 gearing is way too tall. I've had the 14t sprocket since day one, now I'm thinking about going slightly bigger on the rear. I'm going to replace the cheap looking...

Duplicolor makes a 'black chrome' paint that is specifically made to go over existing chrome finishes. That is probably the cheapest way to do it (that won't chip off). Powder coating is the best...

If the bike feels squirley under normal braking, then I think that you are using too much rear brake. Either that or the front suspension is WAY too soft.

The exact phrase that Ducati used...

I guess what I was saying is that many folks (like me) haven't had nice things to say about the stock BT-023. Those comments really don't apply to the tires that you picked up.

What I can say, is that I didn't know how unhappy I was with the stock rubber until I got the new rubber on the bike.
I rode for 2 years on the stock tires and was perfectly happy, but once the...

Probably 2 or 3 times a year, I 'nut and bolt' my bike. It's just a habit that I got from the old SCCA days.

Because of the vibration of the L twin, it's a good idea for everyone to do the same...
