I love them and cant wait to build one. Anyone know why the rims are twotoned lately? most of them are like that. Is it to easily see if the weels are spinning at different speeds, ie rear breaking traction. or you think its just for looks?

I just got one.
A bit early to tell, but I love it so far.
My bike is definitely a street 'tard, and not a full blown race 'tard (like the Aprilia).
So it won't require super-frequent oil changes/rebuild/valve adjustments.

Tank range is pretty limited, it vibrates like a paint shaker, and it's really tall.
But, they're at least 100 lb lighter than the monster, are super easy to flick around, have lots of travel, transform speed bumps into kickers, easy to wheelie (not me), good riding position to see over cars, are pretty durable, and on average cost less than most sport bikes (to own and fix). Apparently it's pretty easy to title/plate bikes in Colorado, so if you do a dirt bike conversion, it should be pretty easy.

Check out supermotojunkie.com for more info.
