What is this U-media? Where is Chigasaki? I don't need parts but might want to go there in the future.

Chigasaki is in the Shonan area of Kanagawa. U-Media is a Kanto area bike chain, much like Red Barron. They have a junk yard down on the coast.

Rte 129 @ Rte 1, turn north east and cross Sagami-gawa, just when you cross the bridge, turn left at the light, go about 50m and look to your left. Can't miss the place.

They don't have much in Ducati parts all the time, but on occation they do. I am rebuilding my wife's Hornet, so I am there every weekend or so pickinig through the piles.

Is there anything that they'd take as a "gift" in exchange for parts? I've heard stories about Navy guys trading stuff bought on base for junk yard parts, have you heard anything like that? I'm getting ready to be stationed in Yokosuka soon, and I'd be nice to know how to work the system so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix/mod my duc.
