Default Is it the mirrors or me?

I'm a new owner of a MOnster 696 and am having a problem trying to find out how I should adjust my mirrors so I can have my best visibility with them.

No matter where I place the mirror, I'm always finding myself having to duck down and pull in my elbows to get the visibility I'd like to have without having to do this. If anything it seems the mirrors are placed too low to give you the best visibility from them.

TIA

No, it's not you.

I find that I have to continually duck or lean in order to see what I'm looking for in the mirrors.

I try to set the mirror angle at a mid-way point between seeing cars just behind me to those farther away. It's tricky to do this as moving the mirrors while at a standstill doesn't give the correct perception and moving them while moving allows better judgement on the correct angle but is a bit dangerous, especially when moving the right mirror.
I had them set just right a while back but they moved slightly after clipping a few cager mirrors with my own in heavy traffic.
