If your legs are still that strong after a fall then you may consider this technique(sorry, I forgot the website where I've read it a year ago).Facing opposite/away from your bike...grasp the handlebar with your right/left hand(depending on which side your bike fell), then let your other hand hold on the bike's frame or any other "firm" part of the bike...then slowly(no smart jerking needed!)do an upright move, with both feet firm on the ground and back straight(some guys prefer bending their back outward to form an arch),lift the bike. Your back supports the side of the bike in the process. The power mainly comes from your knees/legs and back muscles, if you like..., and of course, your arms strength to hold the bike firmly. After you have straightened out, simply turn towards the bike by letting go of your other hand off the frame. Just DON'T overpush so as not to drop the bike the other side! Or else, you'll end up in You Tube, hehehe.
