When riding for a while, my right hand starts to tingel sometimes going numb...
i shake a few times, then its gone....
Anybody knows the reason why this happens and some solution for it?

It can also be the angle of your wrist as your riding. If your and to arm make a V, due to how much throttle your are giving the bike, then you are cutting of blood and making your hand fall asleep.

After you get to speed level out your wrist and relax your hand...

I have the same issue when on the interstate.

When this happens to me, I just tuck in for about a minute and it goes away almost instantly.

Give this a shot, let me know if it works for you.

Start doing this daily.

Find a corner and put on hand on each wall and lean into the corner until you feel a stretch in your chest. This will stretch pec minor. A tight pec minor may cause tingling in your hands... Possible thoracic outlet syndrome.

I started doing this before rides and my hands don't tingle as much.

oh, BTW I'm a physical therapist.

hmmm,
thanks for all the good advice,
think i know where it comes from, i've searched after thoracic outlet syndrome, fits me.
The right shoulder pops out of its joint once in a while,
took some scans before and it seems that the "wires" holding my shoulder in it place are cut.
i could do surchery but then i'm home for about 6 months, the doctor said after a period of about 4 months there is a small chance that i could ride my bike again...
after 2 months i could lift a small grocery bag for a short while,if the surchery works..
so i'll live with it.
but men when it happens it hurts like hell!!!!

Thx

sry for the bad english, its not my main language

Sounds like you have a torn rotator cuff with capsular instability. Get it fixed, it'll only get worse. Better not to ride for 6months now, then to never ride again in 5 years.

+1. I've had this problem; and when I shrug my shoulder to a slightly different position, it goes away almost instantly.

It's worse with thickly padded gloves.

I've found it helps to keep the shoulders loose riding twisty roads as well.

I have the 1" riser in my handlebars.

I have this problem when I ride with my gloves on. If I ride without the gloves, it doesnt happen. I dont tighten the cuffs too tight, but i think from bending my wrist slightly on the throttle, the cuffs tighten up just enough to slow the blood flow to my hand.

Give these a try: http://www.throttlerocker.com/

I use em if I'm goin on a longer hwy ride. They're easily rotated around for precise adjustment as well as getting them out of the way if needed.

Good luck, Mark H.
