Re: Do you use your rear brake??
My rear brake squeeks and my front doesn't. I never use it except for starting on hills.

Re: Do you use your rear brake??
Yup, pretty much everytime I stop. Also by itself when rounding slow corners. I find it helps steady the bike sometimes.

Re: Do you use your rear brake??
All the time, by itself is worthless but in combination with the front brake, it slows the bike faster.

All the time but lightly. Never any squeals on any of my Ducs.

Re: Do you use your rear brake??
I almost never use it. I don't want to make it a habit to prevent my foot going there as a reflex during an emergency braking.

Re: Do you use your rear brake??
All quick stops and I use it to a degree in about 95% of the rest of my stops. I believe it can save your arse coming to a quick stop if usedproperly. Generall 70% of te braking power comes from the front, 30% from the rear. I wouldn't neglect the usefulness of that 30%.

I try to use it whenever I slow or stop, but lightly.
