so i took my S4RS to streets of willow on 4/29 to attend CLASS (reg pridmore's school). i've been to the track with my 749 before, but this was my first time taking the monster.
i took it relatively easy throughout the day but i still had a F'n blast. after reading about people getting a lot of shake and nervous turn-ins i was a little apprehensive, but i wasn't pleasantly surprised by the way the bike held up around the track. power wheelies coming out of turns are something that never happen on the 749, so the few times the front left the ground a bit had me grinning ear to ear.
i found myself less fatigued and sore by the end of the day as compared to the 749 (which many know is kind of a torture rack).
i was running pilot race softs (front and rear) at 28/25psi and those suckers gripped! definitely recommend them to anyone who hasn't tried 'em themselves.
forgot to mention... my seat cowl flew off at some point in one of the sessions. make sure that thing is secured!!
here are a few shots...
