It doesn't, it's most commonly tied to the peace movement, in Italy you see rainbow flags with PACE (peace) on them flying everywhere. But then again homosexuality isn't seen as a social disease as it is here.

Yeah I think it does. I was watching the Top Gear episode on Monday where the fellas competed at the 24 hrs of Silverstone in a BMW Diesel 3-series. They all had thier names on the windows with national flags next to them. Clarkson and Hammon had Union Jacks and as a gag they put a Rainbow Flag after May's name.

Of couse they also had fake sponsors too, and when you opened the drivers side door to the camera it said Penis and the passenger side door read Arse when it was opened. But I digress. I love that show.

Britain isn't Europe. We're more closely tied culture wise to the USA. The press regularly calls us the 51st state.

So who do you think "The Stig" is? I have a strong suspicion that it's Nigel Mansell.
