I ride there with www.bmwpgh.com guys cause they're somewhat inexpensive for a trackday that's close to home. But, to let you all know, the calander says:

April 26 and 27, $130 each day, $250 for both days

June 4th (probably priced lower because it's a weekday)

September 3rd (same as above)

Since I bought a bike from them it's normally between $80 and $90 for me, and $120 or less for someone who has not bought a bike from them.

So you all can consider yourselves FYI'd on the cheap trackdays in Western PA

Yep. All fixed. I'm running the rashed bodywork now until Merle finishes painting the new stuff.

Just got back from the WERA round at Summit Point. It was my 2nd race weekend of the season. We're off next week (hence Lee's trackday appearance) and then we go to Nelson Ledges May 4-5.

Stop on over. I'll have the RV up there for the weekend. Probably just stay at the track all weekend.

I live right by the Beave. I have been around the track more than a few times on four wheels, but never on two. Whats it like?

Whats required to get on the track? What gear? What experience? How do I avoid screwing you guys up?

Full leathers, 1 pc or 2pc with full 360* zip, gloves, boots, helmet. Back protector optional. Bike in good working order, with lights removed, or taped off.

Call www.bmwpgh.com and buy your spot, show up, get tech'ed, ride If you're new on the track (even on 2 wheels) start in beginner, get the lines, then move up as you feel you can.

I normally just register in Intermediate, but move around a little- we police ourselves.

To avoid screwing us up, ride in the right group for your ability, and ride a consistent line. We don't like surprises

What do you mean by 360* zip? I have a leather jacket with a regular ol' zipper.

a zipper that attaches the pants to jacket that goes all the way around (360*) the body.

As opposed to just a short zipper at the back.
