Best WSBK season of recent years
So I just finished watching some recaps of previous seasons of WSBK. I voted for mine, what's yours?

Re: Best WSBK season of recent years
what was so special about '04?
i thought the '01 and '02 bayliss/edwards back and forth seasons were pretty high up there, but i picked '02 since colin won that one. ;D

I haven't seen 02 or 01 yet, but 04 was just so close up until the end. Vermulen, Chili, Haga, Laconi, and Toesland. Those last few rounds were so tight.

it's not a 4-way battle to the end, but it is a winner takes all at the very last round.

Re: Best WSBK season of recent years
And watching Chili and Vermulen battle it out in the latter rounds was pretty neat. Frankie could really make that 998RS work 2 years after the intro of the 999. The crash Vermulen had in warm up and then hop a ride back to the pit to start and finish 4th! Even though they were the first to bow out of the race for 1st with their DNF's they certainly made it pretty exciting.

Re: Best WSBK season of recent years
anybody know of a place to catch the races from this year that you've missed, and not pay out the ass for the privilege?
i know that duc.nu used to, before WSBK shut that service down... :P
