F1 race patrons?
ok, who's been to an F1 race lately and was it an enjoyable experience?
thinking of attending one of the races this season for my vacation. is it worth it, or is it just an annoying clusterfudge?

Re: F1 race patrons?
I hate to admit this but given a choice I'd go to an F1 race over a MotoGP race. I hear Canada is nice. I would love to see a GP in Monocco. It would be a bucket list kinda thing.

Re: F1 race patrons?
monaco is probably among the lowest on my list. relatively poor viewing since it's through the city. all you can really see is the corner you're camped out at.
granted, the spectacle of having f1 cars hauling ass through the city is amazing.

Unless he booked his Monaco trip 4 or 5 years ago, it's highly unlikely you'll get to see the race or find a hotel within 100 miles.

Re: F1 race patrons?
How can you even ask this question? Of course you should go to a race!!!!
The Montreal race is pretty close and it was very fun. I love that you can get so close to the track and the cars in person are just UNREAL. The city is also very nice and you'll see F1 fans everywhere during the weekend.
I'd have to agree that an F1 race is better in person than a MotoGP race. They are both good, but seeing an F1 car braking into a corner is something to behold. The sounds are great too.

mgp races are fun, but too short.
and the spectacle of an F1 race is something i just have to experience. it's like attending the oscars, but for race fans. f'in awesome.
i have to try not to get too excited...
