Was at the creek today and so was Fraser's they had 3 1098r's 1 hypermotard with carbon rims.
1 sports classic.3 1098s's and believe it or not 1 S4RS and what bike was Craig McMartin riding  ???

A s4Rs GO YOU GOOD THING [cheeky] [thumbsup]

So the 1098r riders were doing 1:46 on average pretty quick 8)

Craig pull the monster into 1:47 within 2 laps  [thumbsup]

After talking to him i noticed the s4rs sitting in the corner and asked a few questions. ???

It turns out the monster was a stocker 

It is the shop demo stock everything including the tyres

he also mentioned he wasn't pushing the stock tyres as he didn't want to drop it but if it had some decent tyred you could shave  more of the time no probs [thumbsup]

Hey Vince, remember the chick on the Hyper in the pick leathers = She was doing 1:49's on the Hyper by the end of the day on Friday...... ;-) that is a hard act to follow! Not bad with 1098R doing 1:46's

Was talking to her yesterday she has been bumped up to the red group [thumbsup]

Her Old man bought a 1098R on Thursday and tracked it on Friday he only got 2 days riding from his tyres that would be less than 100km from them

Yesterday he was pulling 1:44 [thumbsup]

Went to see him to try andget some pointers he was repairing the rear sets (rizoma ones)
turns out if you have to much lean angle on the 1098 you will loos your shifter

There were some much quicker 1098's doing 1:43 but they were on slicks not like the one Craig was riding but that's not apples with apples. [thumbsup]
