Default Radiator/Oil Cooler Guards

Can anybody recommend good Radiator/Oil Cooler Guards for an 2008 S4R?

I've tried Radguard, but they don't make one. There's one on Ebay:

but I'm not too sure about them, just from the photo.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys,

I bought a Rad and Oil guard from RadGuard and the oil cooler guard fitted but the Radiator one didnt. The bottom bracket to bolt onto the motor didnt line up. Sent it back and got a refund. They told me it wouldnt fit a 2007 S4R Testastretta!!!

I considered the one on Ebay, the trim around the mesh is only rubber! I would be concerned that it looks a bit cheap. Thought about making up my own, cant be that difficult. As long as the mesh used flows enough air.

Hey Guys,

Yhis one is great. See the website http://www.warpspeed.net.au/temp/rg.html

You may even recognise the bike featured - Yep mine.... [cheeky]

The guard is great (the surrounds are not plastic or rubber but a hard black compound and does not look cheap) but I have gone back to the straight silver one as the gold ceramic paint on to oil guard became a bit crappy over time.....

The straight Stainless steel look is similar to the actual radiator itself but at least I know I am not going to get a rock through it - As this point is much more important than how it looks.... ;D

Ciao,

R_usty

I actually picked up the beast tonight with a new shiny cooling tower. All replaced under warranty. And they cleaned my beast as well (well dusted it off for me)..... Not that it needed cleaning (managed to miss all the rain)... [cheeky]

And I had the RED rear wheel nuts fitted as well.... 8)

She is now all tucked up back home in her warm dry carpeted corner.... ;D

OOohhh and shall re-fit the guard over the weekend... [thumbsup]
