Default Carbon parts on ebay

Any one considering  buying carbon bits from carbondude on eBay should stay away from him.
The quality is crap and his service is also crap.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ducati-monste...QQcmdZViewItem

I have bought some parts and they are not even carbon they are some sort of fiberglass and ruff as guts.

Some other mates have had the same problem so pay a bit more and get better quality from some one more reputable.

sorry to hear about that Dock, put some negative feedback on his ebay account to warn others.

Seems that all the US stores (Shift-tech, Monsterparts, Motowheels) that stock non-DP carbon all share an attribute - it comes from Germany.

The carbon I've received from Jeff at Monsterparts (which is sourced from many German producers - Carbonworld being one) is top stuff. Same can be said for German sourced carbon for my bicycles (and I have a bicycle that is nearly completely carbon) - really good stuff!

The only exception to my theory seems to be BST (South Africa) and heard good things about Geelong (Gold Coast, Aus.).

Good timing,
Been watching some stuff on Ebay, just baught a carbon clutch cover from another seller, wait to see how it is when it arrives. Will let you know.
Now you mention it, I am far from happy with some of the standard carbon parts on the s4rs. I will be taking the bike back to ducati this week to express my concerns and hopefully have the front fender and belt covers replaced. The finish on these parts is terrible. The gloss and lustre of the side covers and exhaust cover is fantastic so I would expect the same finish on all parts.
Has anyone else had a similar problem with the factory products?
