Default SHOW US YA CANS!!!

That got your attention you dirty little buggers...
Exhaust has to be the most common and value adding mod you can make to a Ducati. I am looking into the options available and there is alot of info about and most of it confusing. I thought I would keep it simple.
Can people please give me their own opinion on the options available for a slip - on system that you can install to a S4R - RS without having to modify the ECU. Everything from modifying the orignals to top of the money tree. I understand its a personal opinion and people have different tastes, after seeing some of the pics of the bikes that some of you guys own I would consider the opinions to be well edjumacated.

Staintunes, so long as the cat remains unmolested.

I think Betty' set up with black gloss powdercoated finish would suit the Tricolore very well.
Here is the pics from his post.

So you can keep the ECU same, these pipes with the factory udder/cat in place, but instead of chrome they are finished in semi-gloss or Satin Black powder coat would look fantastic in my opinion! - chris

Well many hours trolling through the info on DML has guided me down the path of least resistance..IE: the cheapest! After seeing Betty's thread and the finished product I am impressed with the homework and research gone into it. Decided to stick with the stock cans and core them. I really like the standard look of the cans and feel that every second bike has the carbon cans but I cant justify the $$$. Can't afford a full system and slip on's only problem it is cost prohibitive for the negligible performance gain.
Awesome link to instructions on core.

I am looking out for a set of stock cans, if anyone knows anyone who wants to depart with them I will be happy to do a deal. Think it best to keep the originals in a safe place in case I F#@%k it up.
Thanks guys.
