Found that the rose joints on MyLittleDucs' Swing arm ride height adjusters were Jatz Crackered and rather than pay Ducatis prices (Dunno what they wanted for them and didnt want to find out ;D)
Sooo I went straight to a bearing supplier and got a pair for $20. And they even have them for our later models with the rod type height adjuster. [thumbsup]
You can get a "standard" type or a you beaut heavy duty sort applicable for racing car use!! About double in cost to what the standard types are. And probably MUCH cheaper than genyooowine. :

+1 on what Dragonworld & Monsta said. I bought mine from CBC bearings in Silverwater. They also sell your wheel bearings, headstock bearings, fuel hose & clamps at much better price than DooKAti. - Chris

Don't suppose any of you have got the bearing places part numbers handy? That's make it easier for me than taking mine out and handing them to the guy at the counter...

My receipt doesnt give an actual brand and the shop isnt allied to CBC Bearings or SKF or the like, but the quoted part number is #67845 and the part description is Rod End Male M10X 1.5 RH (Right Hand).
They should be able to supply the parts by giving them the description. [thumbsup]
There are special lubricants for these but the sella fella said something like our humble chain lube (The one that dries and leaves a film) would do the job!! ;D
I wonder how many people have ever lubed these parts???? :

snap on make a little grease gun for greasing their air tools. the little female nipple is the same as those on the rose/heim joints on the bike and that's what i use on my 888. those heim joints are notorious for seizing and cause a horrible squeak/grind type noise when you sit on it.

BUgger! You think I would have kept the little bag the bearing & rose joints came in! Too silly to think of that when doing the rebuild. Sorry Big, :P

ps, if you need a hand removing, tools, help, etc;please, you know to call/PM
