Default Personalised Plate/s any Suggestions????

Hey guys what do reckon? (No naughty suggestions either ;D)

Do any of you have one already?

In TAS it has to be 3 letters 2 numbers so I was thinking

DUC8I

I can only have WHITE on BLACK as the other colours are grose, there is no BLACK on YELLOW :'(

What do you think $295.00 and then you pay normal rego after that, not sure how they work in the mainland?

Waste of money ??
or do it if you can?? OR ?????

I have this one ATM....

Not the best pic at the time as I nearly hit a car that turned in front of me but I didn't miss the road. :-\

See if what you want is available and I say go for it.

I may sell mine if I think I can make a profit. ???

Personalised plates can attract attention to you and or your bike, As a rule I am not sure that Ducati owners are adverse to attention!!! I think its a nice point of difference for a bike and I prefer plates that are a bit cryptic that perhaps only fans or enthusiasts may understand immediately. Not a fan of the stereo-typical "evl. tuf, low" or similar.( no offence to anyone intended). It can be tasteful if you get the right one.
In the end you are individual and shouldn't really care what others think, perhaps the fact you are asking the question suggests you want it but aren't sure what others think??? screw 'em Do what you like.

This thread inspired me to go into the (NSW) RTA website and have a look at custom plates ... and what do I see ... one of those Flash thingies showing a Monster with DUKE plates, it then moved on to the next image and I could get it back.

Anyway, looks like we are a target audience ... somebody from the RTA has obviously been on here and seen some of the bling.

Personally I am not a fan of writing something on my plates.
Had MAT VAS on a car when I was a young "Punk Kid"
Now in my more sensible years I just like Initials.
Bike is MV-73 Car is MV-073

My 2C's on the topic.
