Default My New 2 Wheeled Super Model.....

Well the monster has a new 2 wheeled "friend"...... I know there are few of you who have "friends" for our Monsters.....

She is a sleek, slim, fast super model and they both seem to have hit it off in a big way. Neither is jealous of the other (630km on the Duke yesterday and 2 hours on the trail today and neither has complained). Just finished cleaning them both together and they are tucked up together in the garage.......

She is an 08 Specialized Stump Jumper Pro Carbon Fiber (comes with a LOT of bling but always room for more). Prefer the Duke for going up hills but this new super model loves to go down (pun intended)... >

Mmmm the things we do on a lazy Sunday afternoon...... 8)

is that a SRAM rear derailluer? and Magura (yes folks the same ones that make the bars on the s4r) Marta brakes?

Congratulations, she's a beauty!

Yep Spider SRAM X0 rear with the X0 shifters. You got to love that 1:1 shifting.... [thumbsup]. Also have them on the Scott RC10 race bike...

And those Magura Marta brakes work a treat and of course, (the most important part) they look smick........

Mmmmm maybe that's why the Duke and Super model get along so well. They have bits in common.....

Hayes used to advertise in MTB magazines a decade ago that they 'stopped' Harleys...but anyone that knew anything about motorbikes realised that wasn't such a good thing...

Did you know that for a period about 7 years ago there were a few downhill bikes that came with öhlins shocks as well...and Answer pro taper bars became popular (again) in the motorbike world after the MTB version became a success!

There is an intrinsic link between the 2 sports - so they will gladly share a garage!
