Default changing a head light globe

alright folks - I'm feeling dumb - used the search facility and nothing! which means I'm the only idiot that cannot work it out. All I worked out that Ita's way of getting water out of the bottom of the light assembly was to hoon around Melbourne!

Have removed the headlight from the bracket mounts, have unscrewed philips head screw on bottom of enclosure.

this removes the light assembly from the body.

Have removed the 'holding clasps or pins' from inside the light.

now...am I trying to remove the front glass panel (and the seal and get access from the front)...or am I going in through the back by removing the bulb receptor/holder?

boy these Philips Extreme globes better be worth it!

Thanks in advance

One spaz Spider

right...i'm in...it was just a bit stuck (the elctrical socket that is, , so the little clamps removed, headlight out, new one in, chrome fairing put back on with clasps.

now my only co-ordination challenge is trying to get the rubber seal back into the headlight bucket!

seriously...may need to get a carbon bucket just so I can practice my expertise.

hope you didn't touch the bulb with you hands... the oils on your fingers could transfer to the glass and reduce the life of the bulb.

The light in my head works fine since the voices went away.

What? No I didn't. You did. Shut up!

Damn, there goes the head light bulb again.

BBB - I've always found you to be about 80% brighter than the average lightbulb ;D
