Default FS: 2004 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS $5500 (WA state)

FS: red 2004 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS

This was my dad’s primary bike. He had an accident in 2010 and pretty much ended his riding career. He swerved to avoid a vehicle that stopped suddenly and high-sided at about 20mph due to a large pothole in the adjacent lane. He’s healed up and moved on, so now I’m trying to help him sell his bikes and this is the last one to go.

This is the bike he went down on, so there’s a little cosmetic damage on the left side. Primarily visible on the left bag, hand guard and frame slider… but there’s a scuff on the edge of the upper fairing, too. Broke that fairing bracket (which I replaced) and bent the shifter and footpeg (also replaced).

The frame/forks have been checked out and confirmed aligned/true. There’s an ever-so-slight tweak in the bars/risers, but it looks to be a pretty easy fix.

The only other thing I see that needs to be addressed is that it could use a fresh battery. It’s sat for the last year and a half and the one that’s in there works, but isn’t great when tested under load.

6900 miles on the clock.

All service is up to date except for the fuel tank pump seal recall that was received from Ducati after the accident.

I'm pretty firm at $5500 right now. I would consider offers, but I would want to take items off the bike and sell individually (slipper clutch, seat, exhaust/ECU and bags etc.) if I were to take anything less.

Extras include:
STM red anodized slipper clutch ($800) and open cover
Termignoni Ti & Carbon full Exhaust w/factory Ducati S ECU
Motosport panniers with custom, powder-coated rack and pull-out liners
CF belt covers
CRG anodized levers
Sergeant Seat
Acerbis hand guards
PIAA Driving Light
Wired for Garmin GPS
Frame Sliders
Extended Mirror Stalks
Heated Grips
DID gold chain
Factory Ducati service manual in 3-ring binder
Tires are Pirelli Diablo’s with <500 miles on each

All stock parts, as well as factory center stand are included.

Please give me a call with any questions: Mike (360)929-4966 or e-mail msh441@gmail.com or PM here.

Just an update:

Fresh battery put into the bike, so that's no longer an issue.
