Default Trade: 2006 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 for Monster S2R1000 / S4R in NYC / NJ Area

I have a 2006 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 that was purchased a few months ago so the warranty is still intact. The bike itself has less than 1,500 miles and is bone stock, with the exception of the bar end mirrors and the removal of the rear plastic hugger... and oh yea, Termi slip-ons (sticker removed) + airbox mod. The bike is pristine condition, never been dropped, properly broken in. It is black with white stripe.

I used to ride a monster 620 and after riding my friends S2R, I'm considering going back to a monster. The Sport Classic is great, very rare around here but the stance is a bit aggressive for me. The bike is located in NYC/NJ.

Some shots taken at a recent gtg:

(bar end mirrors not installed at the time)

Have a Sports1000 and a S2R1000 and I have to agree with the aggressive stance of the SC1K vs the Monster. Have you ever considered going with the Ducati "comfort" bars. They are a good 4" taller. Those and the Ducati "comfort" seat made a huge difference in riding comfort on my SC1000. Just a thought. If you have a mad on for another Monster I can certainly understand that!! Someone would be getting a nice ride that you don't see every day in return. Good luck with it all!
