Custom Brake Stainless Steel Brake Lines w/ lower triple junction (e.g.: 1 line from Master to lower triple, 1 line each to calipers)
Pressure Switch located @ lower triple (out of view)
Brembo Cast Iron rotors, perfect condition (cosmetically and performance, they are straight and true and my favorite rotor of all time)
Brake Pads (1 set w/ plenty of meat, 1 set new)
Tires:
Pirelli Diablos, less than 2k miles on them.
I will include a set of 4V belts to the new owner, and recommend the belts be changed over the winter as they are approaching 2 years (well within mileage specs). The crank-case breather seeps a little oil, however does not need replacement at this time (as per BCM's recommendation). I would likely have upgraded to an STM unit over the winter anyway.
If anyone has met / knows me, they know this bike is my absolute BABY. I am the 2nd owner, and have had her since 2003 when she had just a tick over 7k miles on the clock. She receives nothing but the finest care and attention. the ONLY significant flaw to mention is a rub mark / gauge in the swingarm, where an exhaust hanger bolt was too long and rubbed.
I have two sets of bodywork, the OEM 1992 bodywork was repainted by the legendary Robbie Nigl of PeachPit, who does all body repair and paint for BCM and other area Ducati shops. His work is simply unbelievable, the paint is better than new, and show quality. I have a brand new "chin piece" (the V-shaped piece that sits behind the front wheel and between the side panels) to go with the '92 bodywork. I also have a set of '91 side panels that are on the bike for daily use, and have a second set of '92 tail side panels. This is my daily use set, while the original bodywork stays out of harm's way in the basement.
For all the items above, essentially the bike "as is" with all spares, both sets of bodywork, etc. I am asking $8,000, and I have a free and clear title in-hand.
A stock example with similar mileage and not nearly the upgrades hit $7,600 on eBay last week, reserve not met. So I think this is a very fair price and would prefer to sell her on a forum to someone who will truly appreciate the bike as much as I have.
Also, this is *not* a fire-sale, I do not need to sell this bike for my business start-up, it would make things a little easier, but I do not plan to discount or whole-sale this bike. I believe the price is very, very fair for what you are getting, especially "as is."
Note: pics obviously have Michelin Pilot Roads mounted, they are about a year old, not much has changed.
I can take higher resolution pictures for anyone who is seriously considering purchasing this bike. Please email
scottieducati@gmail.com with inquiries, as I do not plan to check the forums every day.
