Am now 75(bad year--4 heart ops-defib/pacer)--want to sell my 04 sporty--OR would trade for monster----I have owned 5 ducatiiis and believe i can still ride one.--cannot easily ride the sporty. Bike is a showpiece!! just did 5K mi service---has $6000 in upgrades/extras and/chrome.--SE stage 1--HD FG saddlebags--HD upgraded mag wheels--all mustang seat/pillon/backrest/bib--speedo/tach in chrome case--upgrade HD headlite-with chrome shell--chrome handlebar clamp/brake res./both elect control units--chrome oil tank with temp oil stick--chrome belt cover--chrome HD fwd controls--all HD half skull chrome pegs/emblems/covers etc.----to many extras to list.---looking at somewhere close to $7000. will add cash or take cash as warranteed on a trade----thx for your time---Kingfish live in central florida--phone--352 634 4685---------have many pics. will try couple with this post???

I am not sure i understand your reasoning behind a Monster, or any Ducati, for that matter, to be easier on your body than your current bike.

It just doesn't compute.

proclivity----have you rode a sporty???---550lbs----even the rubbermounts demand a lot of physicality.-----i have owned 900sssp(could not ride it today)----888 superbike (could not ride it today)---2 900 monsters---could ride either-------1 ,and my favorite 1998 750 M--all dressed(highpipes,sargent seat etc)--could ride easily.----lot to do with wieght, and the physical aspects of handling that wieght on the road---and the sitting position.--I have not owned a car for 10 years--ride nothing but bikes--30--35K a year--(this year about 20K---riding is not a hobby for me -------its what i do ,most every day. thx doug

I was just in Destin, FL for a friend's wedding. It was beautiful. White sand almost burned my retina. I will definitely be visiting more.
