I have finally decided to sell my 916. It's got a clear title and new Texas registration. It's only got 4850 miles and still feels like it new. Never seen the rain or left outside overnight. It's also never seen a track or raced.....regrettably.
Stock except a pair of CRG levers and Zero Gravity Double-Bubble windscreen.
Low-sided at about 30 mph and I had to replace/repair all of the plastics.
Valves, belts, and the 6K was done less than 1K ago.
Tires and chain have less than 1K on them.
Radiator, front brakes, and clutch fluid were flushed and re-filled last week.
These have been selling around $7000 on Ebay and Cycletrader and I'm only asking $6000.
I'm in Cedar Park which is a NorthWest suburb of Austin. Let me know if you'd like to stop by and take a look. PM me if you're still interested with your phone number and I can walk you through it's history.
O.K. I figured it out. Here she is. It's very clean and rides like it's new with such low miles. I hate to do it but it's time to let someone else enjoy it.
Man that was my dreambike when I was coming out of highschool, price seem likes a steal for the miles. I wish I had the cash for it. Someday I'll ride/own a bike like that, but I have grown to love my monster more than I every thought I would. Sure would like to have that one too though, just curiosity what's the maintenence costs like?
Honestly, the maintence costs aren't bad because most don't buy a bike like this to be a daily "driver" like they would a Monster. Atleast that's why I bought my 695.
I had a slow, lowside (my fault) and when I repaired or replaced the plastics, I painted it flat black. It's actually less shiny in person. It's a flat black that's had plenty of Plexus to clean/protect it. Is it a perfect, brand new looking paint job....no but it's very clean and looks pretty mean. Thanks for looking.
