Default 2004 ST4s ABS...What's it worth?

Thinking about selling my 2004 ST4s ABS. Has only 2000 miles on it. Mint condition with bags.
Was purchased new in 2005 as a left over.

Anyone know what one of these is worth?

I will give you $1000 for it ;D

Keep an eye on ebay, I have a guess, but don't want to say cause it could be way off. They are sort of a hard bike to judge in my opinion. They are a great bike, but people that put a lot of tour miles on don't want them due to maintenance.

Did you look on kelly blue book for bikes?

Kelly has it at $9750 with estimated mileage of 20k. I would think this would put it around $10500 - 11000 with 2k on her. You were only off by one zero...not a bad guess

It is a great bike, that I purchased for long rides that I never have time for. I am putting more miles on my S4RS these days, so will sell the ST if the price is right.

You can't buy these any longer and with the 996 motor, it keeps up with just about anything on the street.

Last '04 ST4s I saw for sale was a gorgeous example with all three Ducati luggage cases and high windscreen. Had 1,500 miles, in the Reno, NV area for $10500. Grey over red wheels (the Senna-knockoff scheme). That was over a month ago (so a little early for prime selling/riding season).

If I could have gotten financing, I'd have bought that one in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, my SS is only worth around 6500, and I just can't come up with that extra $4k right now. :-\ It's a shame, because long-distance and some 2-up is the kind of riding I want to do.

So yeah, $9500-$10k is probably spot-on if you've only got the sidebags. If you have all three factory cases and any other goodies, $10500-$11k would be fair.

Got any pics?

EDIT: looks like the poor bloke in Nevada is still tryin' to sell his... (http://reno.craigslist.org/mcy/622392505.html) I hope it moves soon, because I really don't need to be tempted to make stupid financial decisions right now; I need to buy a house next year.

Well this one on ebay with a bunch of nice options and just over 4000 miles is bid to $10K. 10 hours left.

I paid $9500 for mine last summer but it didn't have exhaust. But was also one-owner and really really clean with less than 4000 miles. Grey, red wheels.

I actually think the price has steadied with these (particularly the 04-05 ST4s models) as Ducati has discontinued them. So 10-10500 is reasonable.
