Default Moving to Dayton soon!

Hello fellow monster riders! I will soon (hopefully) be moving back to Ohio (from Vermont). I went to school at the University of Dayton, and moved to VT for work for a few years. I will <fingers crossed> be taking a position at GE Aircraft Engines in Evendale in the next month or so and will most likely be living in south Dayton, near the Dayton mall. I see from the recent "Let's get some locations" thread that someone else on the DML is in the area. Does anyone have opinions on condo/apartments in the area? I'm looking at Hidden Lakes right now, very impressed with it so far. Also, who is the Duc service provider of choice for you? I will miss the twisty mountain roads of Vermont, but look forward to meeting some new DMLers to show me the Ohio m/c scene!

Thanks in advance.

Garett

When did you Graduate? I did my time at UD and graduated in '99. Not much help to offer on the appartments or condos as I am now living on the North side of town, but a good place to start is the Centerville/Washington Township/Beavercreek area/s. Lots of nice complexes and some townhouse style condos if you're looking to buy. I can get some more info if you need any specifics.

As far as service goes I would definately stay away from Competition Accessories, too expensive and I hate their customer service. Other than that I am still trying to find a good place to keep going back to.

Hope all goes well and let us know when you make into town.

Cool, thanks a lot guys. I appreciate the comments! I graduated in '04, so I arrived on scene just after you left, glassjs. GE is flying me out next Wednesday for the second interview, so I'll keep you all posted on my planned arrival with the Duc, because you know I'll be looking to ride as soon as I get there! DesmOhio here I come. Thanks again.

I flew out for my second interview at the plant in Evendale last Wednesday, it went very well and they said they would get back to me in 2-3 weeks. So by the end of the month I should know for sure whether I'll be making the move. Like I said, everything has gone extraordinarily well so far and everyone seems to be on the same page. So I'm staying *cautiously* optimistic.

Thanks for the support, I'll let you know the outcome!
