695 Low Termis

Ok im taking the plunge in about a month for the low mount termi system on my 695, the one with the ecu etc. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of shops in the area that might have them with prices.

Also i can get the pipes and filter on myself im sure. Im curious though if anybody knows if there is any special procedure for installing the new ECU? And if so any idea what it would cost for a dealer to install?

Try Duc soho and chronic for prices, not sure who has them on hand though. As far as putting the ecu in, if it's anything like a computer make sure you have 0 static charge on you.

Yeah i was reading about it seems u need to reset the air/fuel ratio and reprogram the keys so the immobilizer works with the new ecu. Ill give those guys a call.

I'd like to do the same this summer but prices are ridiculous. I might try BCM up in NH, hoping it might be cheaper as far away from the city as possible.

Cheapest i have found online so far is $1290 from commonwealth motorcycles. Formula one motorsports in oakdale wanted $1400+ OUCH!!!

Try Seacoast Sport in NH, too. They have good deals. I just got a very nice used Ohlins rear shock there for a bargain...

I'm not local but I will tell you that the whole install is a snap. You do have to take it in for the ECU mapping though. :-\ $200-$300 I think it'll still save money though. Oh you're gonna love the difference in power delivery. [thumbsup] After the install it'll clutch wheelies no prob!!!
