New Battery

I needed a new battery for 02 Monster. Went the the Ducati dealer on Spring St. They charged me $170 for a battery. Does it seem a little outrageous or is that price of a new battery?

To me that seems outrageous im sure you could get one from napa from 1/8 of the cost. I had gotten a new battery for my old yamaha virago and it only cost like 30-40$

$170 is what they quoted me. i just left.

contact motored-sports he has a few used batteries. Yuasa OEM.

I think MSRP on those valve regulated batteries are ~$100. Ebay has a few brand new ones but still expensive.

but i'm sure if you shop around you can deff get cheaper

your runnng 93? silly fool, 87 is only $3.47 until tommrow, then its 3.53 then 3.57. then 3.63. ;/ im thinking about getting a huge ass tank and just filling her up now when its cheap.
Go 87 man, i did it and my MPG went from 25 to low 30s.
