Default Garmin Mounts Local?

Anyone know of any local shops that carry the Zumo mount cradle and power cable? I was going to swap mounts between bikes but it's kind of a pita.

The only MC shop that I've seen carry anything remotely related to gps's is Cliff's up in Danbury. Not so local but you can make a nice ride out of it. Definitely call them first before going to find out if they even have it.

J & R in the city carries Zumos too but I'm not sure if they carry Zumo parts, you might want to look it up on their site - jr.com

You planning on using yours for Friday's ride?

Just came past this thread before. Someone posted a place with some cheap aftermarket mounts.

Yeah, I wanted to use it for Fridays ride but I'll just end up ordering it. I have the cradle hardwired into the monster and don't feel like cutting out it. I really should swap it as I hardly ever ride the monster anymore. I'll call Cliffs tomorrow and might get lucky.

The reopen party is on the 3rd. When I spoke to them last week, the store was already open for business.

I ordered the mount and harness from Tigergps. It was in stock, shipped from NJ, and I received it today which was a huge bonus.

Finding a mounting location was a huge pita. This was the best solution I could come up with.

The only thing that sucks is that I have to take my eyes totally off the road to look at it. I could make another bracket and move it forward more but then I'd have to go with a double bubble windscreen for clearance. It's okay for two hours worth of work and driving my neighbors bananas with the drill.
I have no idea where I'm going to mount the radar detector.

Here's my solution...

on the Monster I took apart a techmount and attached it to the Zumo mount -

Same thing on the 749 -

On the RC my set up's a little different. I suppose I'll just show it to you tomorrow...
