Default New Trackbike/Street Rig..... ***First Ride & Pics***

Thanks to all you guys for recommendations on insurance brokerages. After some phone calls, and lots of cursing, I found the best deal with Motorsports brokerage out on LI. I just activated my quote and they really did save me a pile o' cash [thumbsup]. Ultimately, insurance wound up limiting the size bike I was after but everything has worked out great.

SOOOOO....Insurance is straight and money withdrawn from the bank so tonight I go close the deal on an 07' CBR600RR > WooHoo!!!! The bike flat out rocks and I got a smoking deal on it. It's practically brand new; 85 miles on the clock with much of the factory warranty still in place. I'm buying the bike from a well heeled freind of a freind that wanted to ride but just had no time. The bike should be awesome on the street and even better on the track. I haven't ridden a 4 banger in years so the transition back should be interesting. Just wanted to share my excitement with you all.... Pics to follow in a couple of days.

Thanks again guys. Can't wait to wind this thing out. The specs are crazy, 345lbs dry pumping out 118hp stock. The Yosh full system I'm thinking of adding is supposedly good for another 15hp >.

I'll get to those pics asap.... bike is blue/silver.

Whew!!! Finally got the registration set and picked up the bike today >. My first impression has left me floored... I love this thing!!! It's gunna take some time to adjust back to an inline 4 but this thing revs to the moon. I'm supposed to keep it under 5k for the first 500 miles but I slipped a couple of times . I seriously can't wait until I can hammer the throttle... Handling is nothing short of incredible... rock stable and insanely responsive to even the slightest input. I was a little skepticle about the electronic steering stabilizer but it really does keep the front end nice and stable when the bike is pitched over. I'll post up some more on the bike once I get some real miles under my belt.

Oh, here are the pics... Enjoy!
