Rawness of the ride
Nextfriday - I think I understand your question.
Totally different.
The Thruxton is such a "sweet" ride - very quite motor and lovely deep burble exhaust (Staintunes), very little "lean" surging, feel low to the ground, very little vibration, smooth adequate progressive acceleration.
The Ducati could be best described "bad attitude" - hates being ridden around town - noisy motor and nasty exhaust note - bucks and shakes when you take off - scarey acceleration - riding position that squashes your nuts against the tank - prone to a bit of lean surging at a slow steady pace - it seems to keep saying to me "is that all you got - you pussy", harder to master fast cornering when compared to the Thruxton.
Hope the above makes sense.
Let The Good Times Roll - Ray.
