I like how the admins all have like 16 posts... and they are deleting the threads of the guys who have been the heart and soul of good tech advice and motorcycle forum content. My signature line is even edited to fit their need for confomity.

The reason I have removed or deleted Threads or posts, If they redirect to other websites, or if the posts are offensive.
Or if they are the same people complaining about the same thing over and over and over.

I ban members if they continue to spam, redirect people to other sites, or say disgusting or offensive things to members or The Mods/Admin.

what's wrong with sending people to another website?

i can understand if it's a porn site or actual spam, but if people have regrouped elsewhere why try to remove it with such impunity?

feel free to reply in a PM if you don't want to talk about this in public.

I don't understand either, and your one point infraction is funny. I didn't realize we were in kindergarten.

Are all posts that provide links to any other websites prohibited? I mean, if I post a link to an article on http://www.ducati.ms/, will that link be deleted? How about a link to a news article on http://www.cnn.com/?

If there is a list of specific prohibited websites, it would be helpful if that could be provided. Failing that, some means of determining if a link is likely to be unacceptable would be really useful. Without something like this, posters are left having to guess if a link will be acceptable or not. That's a very difficult position into which to put posters.

Obviously, I'm not someone who gets to make the rules, but it seems to me that either all links to anywhere should be prohibited or none should be.
