I know this isn't the usual fare for Monster lovers, but I just read a ride report on an adventure motorcycle excursion made by some guys from South Africa into Angola. All I can say is... AMAZING, UNBELIEVABLE, AWESOME. I swear if you go there, have plenty of time because once you start, stopping won't be an option. Check it out.

i remember reading that angola thread. it's not often that something makes me want to buy an adventure bike, and go to africa, but that did it... [laugh]

and the photography in the iceland post is just... wow. i want to go there too, now.

That Angola ride story was amazing.

Every story I read about people riding through an area that is unfamiliar and potentialy dangerous, they always end up being suprised. I've read stories of people riding through Saudi and China and the people are always amazingly nice and hospitable. I would imagine riding in South America would be very similar. You could only hope that if people came here on a trip, we would be as kind.

That is an amazing trip that I could only hope to experiance one day...
